works amazingly well, i use to shed my donkeys' thick winter coats. follow directions closely to not push to hard on the hair and results amazing. smaller sizes great for dogs and cats too. good for animals who will not tolerate electric clippers. why wasn't this around sooner?

I used my smaller yellow medium sized deshedder on 3 horses to get their winter coat off and it was AWESOME. It works on their summer coat too but it worked SO well to get their winter coat off that everything else seems to pale in comparison. I also like that I can hold it in a number of positions unlike my curling brushes because those prick my hand sometimes.
