Prior to our vacation expedition to Olympic National Park last October, I decided I'd better get some overshoes. Bad enough that the wife was expecting me to go slogging through the Ho Rainforest, I figured my spiffy walking sneaks with the bright red laces would need protection. By definition, rainforests are sodden and sloppy places with lots of puddles.
I surmised that the TINGLEY OVERSHOES RUBBERS in "medium" (8.5-10) would do the trick. On receipt, however, I struggled and failed to get them on my size 9.5 walkers. (As an experiment, I tried - successfully - to get them on my less bulky, leather dress shoes. Perhaps rubbers are primarily designed for such.) So, I exchanged the medium set for the "large" (10-11.5), and these fit the bill, so to speak. (I should note, however, that even the large pair are too small for my even more robust size 9 hiking boots. Go figure.)
The size confusion aside, the overshoes themselves are tough yet flexible. They withstood the death march through the drippy Ho, as well as a trek down the wet gravel of Rialto Beach. More to the point, my sneaks came out of the ordeal dry, unmuddied and unscathed.
I'm deducting a star because of the size discrepancy between the item as advertised and real life. My advice is to be mindful of what sort of shoe you wish to protect; if thick and bulky, go to the next larger version. And whatever the size, it definitely won't replace a crystal slipper from which to drink champagne; the bubbly dribbles down my ONP souvenir T-shirt.

This is a great product for a good price (compared to those marketed as leather furniture conditioners). It could have a better top (like a fold-out squirt dispenser) but otherwise, the leather loves it!

This saddle stuff works great I worked with it on my western saddle and it works like a dream it inriches the saddle's worn leather and makes it shinier and softer so my future horse a horse I am still looking for will have a healthy horse and good condiotion western saddle this stuff is great I always make my mom take me to the nearby feed store to get this stuff it is super duper great!

The seller who offers these overshoes specializes in gear for horse-riding but I haven't been near a horse since Girl Scouts and these galoshes are very handy for the frequent Seattle drizzle. They fit over most of my flat shoes, have enough traction for walking on wet sidewalks and pavement, and are thin enough that I can drive safely with them on. I know galoshes like this aren't a fashion statement but dry feet are worth it.
My only complaint is that this sandal style leaves shoelaces exposed so in heavier rain it's likely that I would still end up with some water in my shoes. In retrospect, one of the high-top styles like [...] would probably be even more practical. (The catalog that the seller included in the box showed other styles but it seems like only other sellers offer those styles on Amazon.)

I have used neatsfoot oil before and I liked the results. I had this really old dirty pony saddle that I restored using neatsfoot oil. I did not think it was possible to make stiff dry cracked leather become supple again but it worked great! Great product.

Used product on new leather rifle slings, made them supple and gave a nice brown color. 100% pure is important, because the non-pure oils can cause the stiching to rot or dissolve.

I love this product because it rocks and it is the best on synthetic saddles, it worked magic on my ten year old saddle! it had mold on it and it was cracking up hard, but one spray of this baby and "Voila". it works really well if you wet the sponge and then wipe! If you use the leather conditioner and leave it in before a show the wonders it does and the "Wash" works like magic on mud that has dried or is even still wet.We live in a very dry country and our saddles crack easialy so this baby worked so well there are nly three cracks on my saddle at the moment when it is ten years old it had many more but the reitalizer helped so much.................!!!!!!!!

I use it on the leather seats of my 19-year-old BMW to keep them as supple as possible. Nothing else comes close (although Meguiar's foaming leather cleaner is a good companion product) for doing what it does:
1. Mink oil used to be good, but several years ago the most-available formula changed and now's it's little more than a petroleum-based, stinky can of greasy stuff.
2. Doesn't have to be any particular temperature to use it--it's always liquidy.
3. Goes into the leather easily and absorbs quicker than most other products (important for seats!), and has a mild, appropriate-for-leather scent.
4. Doesn't need to be buffed or rubbed off later.
5. Leaves a nice medium shine (not glossy and not dull--you can see the difference; the cloth you use will most likely have some dirt on it when you're done)!
Make sure you use a clean, soft terrycloth towel to apply it and remember that a little dab'll do ya--different leathers have different thirsts and this stuff lasts a long time.

This particular boot polish was suggested to me by a local booter dealer. It works and does the job. I do not think it is the best I have ever used but it cleans and seals the boots very well.

I recently purchased a pair of Luchesse Ostrich Quill boots and found myself in quite the bind when I didn't have any conditioner for my boots that I spent a month's rent on.
I did alot of reading on alot of forums and this one seems to be the most popular for exotic hides; Ostrich especially.
I now use it once a month and it seems to clean, polish and condition all at the same time in a very good way.
If you want to keep your exotics looking fresh, purchase Bick4.
On a side note, I would not have ordered this online if I knew that the local Cavender's carried it.
