This helmet is the best I have used in 38 years of riding. The detachable visor is critical for safety. I was very glad when my previous Troxel helmet had a visor that came off when I was tossed over the head of a horse.(Yeah, it happens.) This new Troxel takes the quality up a big notch with the easy method of adjusting the fit.

It's hard to believe you can improve on the number one rated schooling helmet (by John Lyons and the Horse Journal), but they did. New sizing is as follows: XS - 51-52 cm, Small - 53 to 54 cm , Medium - 55 to 56 cm, Large - 57 to 58 cm, Xlarge - 59 to 60 cm, XX Large - 61-62 cm.

You have all hit your head on something at one time or another. If you are like me you just want to scream. Now imagine that big head on your horse and him whacking that on the horse trailer. That's a big ouch!!! You can avoid that by buying one of these great dense neoprene over foam head bumpers that hooks onto any halter. Very lightweight yet offers good protection. Brown, one size.
